Battery lamp instructions

Press the black rod at the top to turn on/off. Your battery lamp should run 8-10 hours before it dims. If used an hour a night, it will need charging after a week. Best to charge overnight. This lamp requires a special charger with a maximum voltage of 12.6 volts. The charger light will turn from red to green when the battery is about 80% charged.

Battery care: With good care the battery should last for thousands of recharges over many years. As with any lithium battery, recharge promptly if the battery runs down and do not recharge longer than overnight. However, it is okay to leave connected to the charger continuously if the light is left turned on. For long-term storage it is best to leave the battery half charged.

Care of your battery photo lamp: The paper top, print, and shade are not damaged by water and somewhat protect the LED tube from a light rain, but do not leave outside. The LED tube will be damaged by water. You can wipe the top and the print with a damp cloth for cleaning. Do not use chemicals.

Specifications: Battery: 2200 mAh 3S1P Lithium lasts 8-10 hours, LED strip: 5000K, 2.5m, 0.34A, 7w, 400lm , Charger: CC/CV 1A 12.6V red means charging, green when 80% charged.

How to change the photo print

These lamps are constructed so you can easily change the cloth print. View our video below or read on.

First take the shade off the lamp base by unscrewing the loop nut at the top. Be careful to note the order you remove parts and do not lose any. Remove the print by pulling it off the double adhesive on the shade. You may have to pull hard but this should not damage the print which is on a strong synthetic cloth.

Then set the lamp shade frame on a table. Rotate so the adhesive strip with black line is towards you. Hold the replacement print right-side up (Redipix serial number on the bottom) by the center of the sides and loop behind the shade. Let the print rest on the table by gravity so it will line up with the bottom of the shade. Pull towards you and wrap the left side around and adjust so it will meet the black center line of the adhesive. While keeping the print resting on the table, press the center of the left end to the adhesive and run your hand up and down so it will stick.

Then pull the right side towards you until tight and press it to the adhesive up and down. Now check that the print lines up well with the top and bottom of the shade. To improve the adhesive holding power, pinch the print near the top and bottom.

Hold the LED tube from the bottom with one hand as you reassemble in this order: shade frame spider ring, paper disk top, brass washer, hanging/carrying loop nut. Check that the gold ring around the edge of the top is outside the shade print all around. The nut does not need to be very tight.
